What is Goalpost

Goalpost is a player vs player wagering card game offering excitement like blackjack, faster than poker and simple as a coinflip

How do I get started?

Steps:

• Go to www.beta.goalpost.gg‍

• Login using Matrica or Discord‍

• Click on your profile picture and select "Wallet" to top-up your game‍

• Select the token you wish to deposit and the amount‍

• Click on "Play Now", choose the token and minimum bet table you wish to join‍

How many players do I need to join a game?

Goalpost requires a minimum of 2 players to start a game, with a maximum of 8 players per table. If the current table is full, don’t worry, you can always join another available table.

We ensure that there are always enough tables open for new players to join and enjoy the game.

Can I play with any Solana token?

Goalpost is built exclusively on the Solana blockchain, and all in-game transactions currently use Solana ($SOL) or $BONK only. These will be the primary tokens required to play during the game’s initial public release. As we expand and evolve, we plan to support additional tokens to provide players with more options and flexibility in the future.

Do I need NFTs to play the game?

No, NFTs are not required to play the game. GoalPost is free to play, as long as you own SOL or any other supported token for in-game wagers.

What is the minimum bet to join a table?

We’ve designed Goalpost to be inclusive for everyone, whether you’re a casual player or a full-on whale or degen! Our flexible ante fees range from 0.001 $SOL or 5K $BONK for those just starting out, all the way up to 1 $SOL or 5M $BONK for high-stakes players who love the thrill of big wagers. There’s a table for every kind of player!

What if I ran out of tokens while playing?

No problem! Goalpost lets you top up your game wallet without leaving the table. Simply click on your profile picture, select the token you're playing with, and deposit more funds to keep the game going seamlessly. It’s quick, easy, and keeps you in the action without any interruptions!

What happens if someone clears the pot?

When a player clears the pot, a new game automatically starts. To stay at the table, all players must contribute to the communal pot again by placing the minimum bet. You’ll have a few seconds to make your move before the game automatically removes you to avoid delaying the start of the next round for other players.

To make things smoother, we’ve added an “Auto Pay Ante” option. By enabling this feature, your minimum bet will automatically be placed, ensuring you’re never kicked out of the table and can keep playing uninterrupted for as long as you like!

When the game is launching?

The team is hard at work to deliver an amazing gaming experience, and we’re aiming to have Goalpost released before the end of 2024. Stay tuned for updates, as we’ll be sharing more details and sneak peeks along the way!

Is there any NFT collection for Goalpost?

Yes, Goalpost has a single collection called the Druids, which comes with exclusive benefits, including revenue share from the game. Goalpost will only offer revenue share through the Druids collection and has no plans to release or consider any additional collections tied to game rewards.

I heard about AI players, is that still happening?

Yes, AI players are still part of our roadmap! While our current focus is on delivering an engaging experience with live players, we plan to integrate AI players in the future to enhance gameplay options. They are designed to fill in when players are alone and need an extra participant or when they want to add another player to their team table. Stay tuned for updates as we continue to evolve and improve the Goalpost experience!

What will happen with the NFT collection BVB ?

We took over BVB from the previous founders almost a year ago.

While we won't execute their roadmap or promised, we always promised that their holders would not be left behind.

Instead of burning BVB assets, holders will be able to lock their BVBs to earn a share of a dedicated BVB revenue share pool, funded by up to 5 Druids’ rev share over time. The more you lock, and the type of assets you lock (e.g., dragons or crowns), the larger your share will be. More details will be shared soon!
